Mountain bikes are restricted on most of the trails at Cedarock Park. There is one trail specifically meant for mountain bikers, the outer loop is for horse use, and the remaining trails are mainly for pedestrian traffic. Take caution if you decide to take the bridle trail because horses can be spooked easily. So, RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK! There are several trails to explore though there is no simple way to combine them in one big loop. Luckily, there is a trail map at the start of the red trail and mountain bike trail. The singletrack is rooty at parts and only slightly technical overall. On the yellow trail there is a lovely waterfall.
"From I-85, take Exit 145 Burlington/Liberty. Go South on Highway 49, passing 2 flashing lights. Turn left onto Friendship Patterson Mill Road(there will be a sign pointing left for Cedarock Park). A quarter mile ahead turn left at the next Cedarock Park sign. Pass the disc golf course on the right and continue to the second dirt road entrance on the left entering the picnic area. This is the official bikers' parking.
